Primadet (MS and LP Series) Non-Electric Detonators
Introduction
Primadet Millisecond series (MS) nonelectric delay detonators are used in open pit mining, quarrying, construction and underground production works. Offers 20 delay times from 0 to 750 ms.
The Primadet Long Period series (LP) are used extensively in underground mining, tunnelling and shaft sinking, including 26 delay numbers from 100 ms to 9 s. Yellow and orange colours are used to distinguish both series.
Features
- The J hook connector allows individual connection of each unit to the detonating cord trunkline.
- A durable, water proof delay tag indicates the period number.
- Incorporates a Delay Ignition Buffer (DIB) which improves timing accuracy, reliability and safety.
- Figure 80 DetPakTM coils and packaging offer the optimum in handling deployment. The water proof bundle bands as well as the coil design virtually eliminate the possibility of tangling.
- State of the art shock tube technology offers a high degree of abrasion resistance, tensile strength and elongation. The Primadet shock tube propagates at more than 2000 metres per second and will propagate through most knots, bends and kinks.
